I’m convinced that the truly desirable thing about being rich isn’t the ability to own expensive things or travel all the time or anything of the sort. Not to me, anyway. The most beautiful thing about being rich to me would be the capacity to insulate myself from the sheer frustration of having to deal directly with morons such as the billing department at the American Telephone and Telegraph Company.

The Number of the Counting

I was all set to be excited about my 1,000th visitor (who stopped by last night), and then realized that my web counter doesn’t really truly register unique hits. I am estimating that maybe only about half that many people have graced me with their (mostly voyeuristic) presence. That’s still a lot, and I thank you.
