Why Smart People Can Be So Stupid.

Dammit. I can’t decide whether I should sell my 35mm SLR camera or not. On the one hand, it’s sort of a beginner’s model, along with all its attendant inefficiencies (including a thoroughly dog-awful yuppie-zoom lens), and I hesitate to lock myself into a system with limited expansion possibilities. But on the other hand, it has virtually no resale value (I mean, I do get something for selling it, but it ends up being more like 30% of what I paid) and yet, it is quite functional: I’ve been rather pleased with at least a few of the shots ([1] [2] [3]) it has helped me take. What’s a (literally) poor boy to do?
