Time

Novelty of the day: Time magazine. I know! How lame is that. Well, see, once upon a time I was perusing the magazine rack at my local Borders bookstore, casting about for stimulus and inspiration. I came upon this nifty-looking rag, targeted at the Ikea demographic, called One. If you were really really observant you may have noticed it. Turns out the magazine was in its first year: I unwittingly became what they call a “charter” sucker subscriber. I&#8217m guessing the recent economic downturn took its toll and the nascent little pub ceased publication after just a couple of issues. By way of consolation prize the One folks offered to apply the rest of my dues towards a “free” subscription to another magazine from a selection provided by them. I picked Time. (The other choices weren&#8217t all that, believe me.) So now I get Time every week. This week’s cover story: Should You Be A Vegetarian? I don’t know: should I?
