It’s open season on Ben & JLo’s “rigli, rigli bad” movie, Gigli. Sure, bad movies are no rare thing, but rarely does one attract as much snarky excoriation as this. To wit:

“Kind of a pleasant distraction, like when your doctor busts out with ‘Baby Got Back’ during your colonoscopy.”

and

“One recurring metaphor Gigli employs for the battle of the sexes, gay or straight, is that it all comes down to bulls (him) and cows (her). Maybe that explains why ‘Gigli’ is such a pile of manure.”

and

“Gigli is so horrible I had to go cleanse my palate afterward by watching ‘Glitter.’”

The Village Voice on the magic that is Friendster:

“I signed on to Friendster and after some quick browsing discovered that everybody I know is on this thing,” he says. “I’m shocked that it took me this long to get an invitation!” Jonathan had unwittingly fallen victim to a new phenomenon?the virtual snub.
