Si Se Puede

The World is bigger than US. The World comes to US to give of itself to us. We should be grateful to be so blessed. Instead fascists and xenophobes in the halls of power try to drive a wedge between “us” and “them.” Yet, still they come to us and ask to become one with us. Same as it ever was: Indians, Vikings, English, Dutch, French, Germans, Polish, Irish, Italians, South Americans, and on and on, we wouldn’t be “us” if it weren’t for “them.” Last Saturday a few million of US and “them” got together to remind ourselves, the World and the politicians that “we” are no different from “them” because “we” are “them.” Would you please stop trying to divide US already?
